How will my ebooks be delivered?
Upon completing your transaction, you will receive two emails to the email address you used during checkout. One will be from me, confirming your transaction. The other will be from my ebook supplier, BookFunnel, and will contain instructions on how to download your book(s). If your BookFunnel email doesn't arrive within a couple minutes, please check your spam/junk/promotions folder.
If you don't receive the email with your download link, you can get your book(s) from your BookFunnel library at https://my.BookFunnel.com. Just remember to use the email address you supplied during the checkout process. Forgetting which email you used is the number one reason why people have trouble accessing their books :)
I'm having trouble downloading my ebook. Where can I get help?
BookFunnel has an amazing customer support team who will be happy to help you with any technical questions/difficulties. You can contact them at help@bookfunnel.com.
Where/how can I read my book?
The BookFunnel website offers instructions on how to download your ebook or deliver the file to your Kindle, iPhone, Android device, Nook, or Kobo.
There are also other options through BookFunnel, such as the BookFunnel Cloud Reader and the BookFunnel app, available in the Apple and Google Play stores.
What about paperbacks and audiobooks?
At this time, I don't have the infrastructure to sell paperbacks or audiobooks. For now, the store is focused on ebook sales.
Why aren't all your books listed in the store?
The rights to some of my series (original Hot in Chicago, original Chicago Rebels, and Tall, Dark, and Texan) are held by various publishers. Because we can't sell them in the Kate Meader Store, we haven't listed them here. Some of those older series are connected to the current series and can be purchased on other retailer sites. What is your refund policy?
Because ebooks are delivered immediately, no refunds will be given. I stand by my books and know you'll enjoy them as much as the thousands of readers who have enjoyed before you! If you experience technical difficulties downloading/accessing your ebook, please contact help@bookfunnel.com.
Before buying directly from me, I recommend you check your personal library to ensure you haven't already purchased my books. Unfortunately Shopify doesn't inform you of previous purchases, so you need to do your due diligence and research if you've purchased something from me in the past. (Check your email, your Bookfunnel library/app, or keep a list in your Notes app.) But I also know that mistakes happen! In the event of a duplicate purchase, please email kate@katemeader.com with proof of your prior purchase.
